The 2nd Edition of the Harley-Davidson Golf Challenge took place on the morning of 14 March 2023 at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club with the participation of 100 golfers.
After coffee and breakfast courtesy of Asiaeuro Wines & Spirits, the Harley Owners Group members teed off at 7.45am.
Among the luminaries in action were Dato’ Seri Tengku Baderul Zaman ibni almarhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah, His Excellency the Ambassador of the United States of America to Malaysia Brian McFeeters, Tan Sri Aseh Che Mat of the Malaysian Golf Association and Minister Counsellor Yoo Kwang Yul from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.
The event in celebration of Harley-Davidson’s 120th Anniversary saw prizes up for grabs, including a RM135,680Harley-Davidson Fat Bob put up by Route 77 for Hole-in-One, which unfortunately was not won by any participant.
Other prizes were Harley-Davidson merchandise, Hard Rock vouchers, Garmin watches, Oakley eyewear, golf bags, as well as cigar and paraphernalia.
The Cuaba Asia Pacific edition courtesy of Mighty Milestone Sdn Bhd, one of the largest licensed tobacco importers and distributors in Malaysia, is the long perfecto from Cuba measuring 6 ¼ inches by 47 ring gauge.
The tournament, which was sanctioned by the Malaysian Golf Association, was also sponsored by Route 77 Harley-Davidson Kuala Lumpur dealership.
Adding festivity and cheer to the event were H.O.G. golfers from neighbouring Singapore, as well as Brunei, Vietnam and even as far as China.
Celebrations ended with fellowship over lunch and everyone having a good time.
